Old Mac Donalds Farm, Brentwood, Essex, UK
We were there about three hours, but if you have children who enjoy play areas, indoors and out, you could happily stay there a lot longer. If you are visiting with a chid with special needs, do not forget to ask about special rates, as one of the adults can gain entry at a reduced rate as a carer. This is not advertised but we have been told by others to ask at theme parks and attractions, as most have some type of special rate available.
Our first stop was to the Farm Yard
Cafe, as much needed refreshment was needed after our journey. Prices were
very reasonable, and even went back later for a sandwich and a bagette which
are prepared freshly there, the only down point was the staff could be a bit
more friendly and enthusiastic.
After our break we started walking round and the first stop was the piggys. Samuel was a little unsure at first but soon was happy and even practiced signing Pig.
Near the piggys were some lovely baby lambs, Samuel liked these, and next to them was a familiar face, we think it was Alexander from the 'ComparetheMeerkat.com' advert :->
We really enjoyed ourselves at Old Mac Donald's Farm and can recommend a visit, we certainly will be returning again soon. |
