Samuel is now over 2 1/2 years old and continues to be a busy little
boy. Here is a summary of a typical week for Samuel.
Monday
My Mummy is usually working so I spend the day with my
Nana and Grandad. I am beginning to move around a lot more so my Daddy
brings my playpen for me to play in.
For my dinner I usually have fish fingers, sausages or sausage rolls. When
my Daddy finishes work, he picks me up and we go and meet Mummy from work.
Tuesday
09:00 to 09:30 - Speech Therapy with Lee at the Briary
School.
10:00 to 12:00 - SNAAPS at Windchimes, Herne Bay.
Wednesday
Today at 09.30 to 12.00 I go and see Jane, Steph, Mandy
and Hazel at 'Honey Bears', this is where I get to play with a small group
of children like me, without their Mummy and Daddy's being around. Its held
at Children's Assessment Centre, at Kent & Canterbury Hospital in
Canterbury.
Its great fun - we sing songs and go in the soft play area.
Thursday
Today I go to the main stream toddler group in the
morning at Joy Lane, Whitstable. Its very busy, with lots of children
running around. One day I hope I can run round with them.
In the afternoon its back to 'Honey Bears' just like
Wednesday morning.
Friday
Today I go shopping with Mummy, but in the afternoon,
Lucy my Portage lady comes to see me, we have great fun playing games and
singing songs. Sometimes Lucy makes me work hard which is not always fun.
Once a month I go to a Hearing Impaired group run by
Rosie (Teacher of the Deaf) and her husband John. I like John's guitar! We
play games, have a snack and finish with a sing song. My Mum stays with me
at this group and chats to the other Mum's while I play.
